Petar Todorov

Peter Todorov is assistant professor at the Institute of National History in Skopje and research fellow at the University of New York in Tirana. Currently he is visiting professor at Istanbul Şehir University where he teaches History of the Balkans. His research interest is focused on the 19th and 20th century social and urban history of the Ottoman Empire and the Balkans, and the history education and contemporary perceptions of the past. He participated in several projects related to the history of the Balkans and history education in the Republic of Macedonia and contributed to the production of alternative curriculum and text materials.
