Sociology of Music Reform: Consistance and Change in Classical Turkish Music

Organized by Center for Civilizational Studies and Center of Art Studies, second speaker for the series Turkish Music Talks is Onur Günes Ayas. Ayas will make a presentation about the changes in Turkish classical music tradition, its transformation in front of different political regimes in the context of his recent book, Sociology of Music Reform: Consistance and Change in Classical Turkish Music. The conference will be conducted in Turkish.
